REN

SENS
'Ren’ means “clean” in Swedish. It represents our commitment to cleaning up the textile industry - and the planet.
‘Sens’ conveys the idea of making sense. Using what we already have, just makes more sense.
Also a Swedish play on the French renaissance and what we call “pånyttfödelse” or rebirth. Hopefully self-explanatory.

Our mission: make textiles circular. Make impact scalable.

Textile waste is one of the largest waste streams - yet most textiles still end up incinerated or landfilled because recycling is too complex, too costly, or delivers inconsistent output. Renasens exists to change that.

Our mission is to unlock circular textiles by turning blended waste into high-quality fibers through our proprietary and waterless process that preserves fiber integrity.

Our technology is built to scale. Through a modular set-up we are working directly with the supply chain to ensure seamless integration and maximal impact - so circularity becomes the default, not the exception.

How Renasens was born

Renasens began by mistake. During my PhD, a curious experiment with old cotton fabric planted a seed I didn’t yet recognize. Years later, a conversation on a train with a stranger about the failures of the textile industry made me realize: I had the technology to help fix it.

Today, that spark drives Renasens. We think deeply, act intelligently, and refuse to let the past limit what’s possible.

Renasens exists because curiosity led to insight, and because people with heart and resilience choose to build something better and bigger, every day.

The pillars of our mission

Quality first

We preserve fiber performance so recycled materials can meet real-world requirements.

Cost-efficient by design

Lower energy use and a simplified process reduce cost barriers to adoption.

Built for scale

A modular approach enables capacity to grow as demand increases.

Circular impact

More textiles kept in use means less waste, lower emissions, and no extraction of virgin resources.
